Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 onion, peeled
  • 30 grams olive oil
  • 750 grams Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 jar Passata (700gms)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika ground
  • grated cheese, Half a Cup
  • Corn chips, 1 bag to use for dip

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degress

    Place onion, garlic and olive oil into mixer and sautee for 3 mins, veroma, speed 1

  2. Place kidney beans, passata, tomato paste, sugar, chilli powder and paprika to mixer and cook for 15 mins, 100 degrees, speed 1

  3. Mix ingredients for 20 seconds, speed 5 - 6

  4. Pour mixture into casserole dish (oven safe) and sprinkle with grated cheese.  Place in oven for 10 minutes, or until cheese is golden on top

  5. Serve hot with corn chips, tortillas or crispy bread
