Ingredients

Dairy Free Brazilian Cheese Puffs

  • 4 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast Flakes
  • 160 grams Milk of choice, I use Soy
  • 60 grams Unflavored Oil, (Rice Bran / Vegetable)
  • 1 --- egg
  • 170 grams arrowroot flour, (Tapioca Flour)
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 to taste onion powder, garlic powder or paprika, optional
  • 1 to taste fresh herbs like chives, optional

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat Oven to 220°C

    Grease a 24 Hole mini Muffin Tray with oil
  2. Add all Ingredients

    4 Tablespoons Nutritional Yeast Flakes
    160grams milk
    60grams oil
    1 egg
    170grams arrowroot flour
    1 tsp salt
    dried herbs to taste ( optional )

    Closed lid"Closed lid" 20seconds Speed 6

    Scrape down and Repeat
  3. Pour Mixture into muffin tin filling 3/4 full.

    and into Hot 220°C Oven

    Cook 10-12 minutes.

    Serve Warm.

Tip

Add say 1-2 teaspoons worth of dried herbs.

have used italian herbs, pizza sprinkle, Maroccan spice,

totally up to you, they do puff up alot more than the dairy verson. Enjoy,

also serve with a side of sweet chili sauce or use on the side like roast to soak up the gravy tmrc_emoticons.;)

    These were delicious. I used rice milk and added a bit of left over cooked bacon that I had in the fridge. I was surprised how cheesy the texture was with it being dairy free. I made two batches but I found inmy oven it was better with 15 minutes at 200 degrees, as my first batch was a bit burnt on the bottom. Will be making these again.
