Recipe's preparation

    How to:
  1. 1. Boil the eggs to a soft boil and then plunge in icy water before peeling. If you have Cookidoo use this method, or do this:
•Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to the boil and boil for 3 minutes. Plunge and peel as above.

    2. Place the onion, carrot, garlic and parsley in the Closed lid"Closed lid" mc in, and chop 20secs/sp 5, or until finely chopped. Season to taste

    3. Carefully encase each egg in the mince mixture and then roll up in the pastry, sealing and enclosing the ends as you go. Brush with the egg wash.

    4. Bake in an airfryer preheated to 180°C, for 10minutes, then reducing temperature to 160°C for a further 20 minute. Pastry should be golden.

    5. Repeat with the remaining eggs until all cooked.

    6. If you prefer to cook them in the oven, preheat to 180°C fan and cook for around 35 minutes.

    7. Serve warm or cold with relish or sauce.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
