Easy low cost meal thank you - I added a teaspoon of garam masala and cauliflower florets. We have this with the Thai roti clone recipe and rice.
Just love this Dahl, I add cauliflower and leave out the chickpeas. It's delicious and a regular dinner in our house, my hubby's favourite. Thanks for sharing 😀

Fantastic! Thanks so much for a great, easy recipe!!
Beautiful flavours,I forgot to soak lentils so I added 4 extra mins cooking time and it's amazing ! Thank you Judy xxx
Really lovely, ill make sure I have all ingredients next time but I had to improvise and it was pretty good. I didnt have an onion so added a garlic and an extra small red chilli, instead of red lentils I added a mix of lentils and split peas and instead of 300g pumpkin I added 150g sweet potato and 150g potato, reduced water to 700g but didnt need to, I added a handful of fresh beans and two large teaspoons of coconut milk. Doubled the time to cook so potato and sweet potato was cooked.
Thank you
made this again today, didnt have pumpkin so just added normal potato to the same quantity...delicious and a great low cost meal
oh so yummy, pumpkin needed 25 mins to cook but that was an easy fix. So delicious now if i could just stop nibbling it before dinner time
Oh it tasted fantastic.
So easy ans smells delicious
Made this tonight and omg yum. made it in the TM5 used 700ml water and had to cook it for 30min second half of cooking I took the mc off and used steaming basket to stop splatter and this helped thicken the curry. Made fresh focaccia to go with it.
