Ingredients

Pasta

  • 2 cloves Garli
  • 10 grams fresh chill, adjust to taste
  • 5 grams fresh ginger
  • 1 onion, halved
  • 20 grams olive oil
  • 100 grams raw sugar, or rapadura
  • 2 chicken breast, chopped into large pieces
  • 1 tablespoon chicken or veggie stock paste
  • 500 grams Boiling water
  • 300 grams fresh cream
  • 250 grams large pasta tubes
  • 150 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 80 grams Parmesan cheese, shaved

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Add garlic, chilli & ginger to Closed lid"Closed lid" . Chop 3 seconds/speed 7

    2. Add onion and chop 3 seconds/speed 5

    3. Add oil and sugar - saute 4 minutes, 100 deg/speed 1

    4. Add chicken, stock, water, cream, pasta and mushrooms. Cook for 17 minutes, 100 deg, speed 1 Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"

    5. Place spinach into Thermoserver, and pour pasta on top. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Top with Parmesan cheese

     

Tip

I serve this to the kids and they love it. If you are serving adults only, you may like to give it a bit more zing by doubling the chilli, ginger and garlic.

 

Add whatever veggies you want in place of the mushrooms.

    This was super super delicious! Made this tonight and honestly wasnt sure how it was going to turn out but the 3/6 people in my house that eat anything remotely spicy pretty much licked their bowls clean! I had 2 BIG servings haha and have some for lunch tomorrow! Thanks heaps for a great recipe tmrc_emoticons.)

    A bit too sweet & I don't think the flavours compliment each other all that well. it was nice but not great.

    I agree with the too sweet, especially if this is a meal not a side dish. I will make this again becasue the creamy texture and flavour is great but i will half the sugar and double the suggested chilli.

    This was absolutely delicious! 

    My husband actually made this as his first meal as we only just received our thermie. We did swap the mushrooms for carrots and brocolli. Next time we would add a tad more pasta and more vegetable. Definitely will make this again.
